What’s new at
The Sequoia Center?
-
The Sequoia Center now offers Intervention Services for families, loved
ones, and other concerned persons who have an alcoholic or drug addict
in their lives. Our Intervention Services begin with your call and our
introductory talk, then include building the team of concerned persons
who along with you want to get their loved one into treatment. We offer
resources to the team to help them set realistic expectations, and establish
boundaries to reduce co-dependency and enabling. Intervention Services
include bringing the client into treatment, and coordinating care both
before and after the course of treatment. For further information on
the Intervention Services, please contact Lisa Molbert at (650) 421-
2568.
- The Founder, Barry M. Rosen, M.D., has appointed a
new clinical director for The Sequoia Center.
- Under the medical direction of Dr. Barry
Rosen, the Center has designed
and recently launched a Healthcare Professionals Track.
- Commencing December 18, 2007, The Sequoia Center will
offer a weekly Concerned Persons Group for any person
concerned about an addict and/or alcoholic.
- Gender specific residential housing is available.
