Treatment Program:
Licensed Professionals Support
The Sequoia Center offers a new Licensed Professionals Support. Designed specifically for licensed professionals (such as healthcare professionals, lawyers, mental healthcare professionals),
the program begins with direct assessment by qualified clinicians, with special attention
to the following:
- Effects of substance abuse in professional practice
- Medical ethics
- Professional boundaries
- High-risk situations and behaviors
- Presence of co-occurring disorders
- Spiritual difficulty
Sequoia can help deliver treatment and recovery directly
to people in your work and practice.
Treatment
After completing Sequoia’s professional assessment, the professional will
get a treatment plan based on individual needs and professional
staff recommendations. The treatment can begin at any one of
the following three levels of treatment: Residential, Day
Treatment, or Intensive Outpatient.
Special individualized treatment for the professional
may include:
- Recovery group specifically for Licensed Professionals
- Longer term treatment planning options for
professionals
- Specific healthcare workplace related issues
Additionally, professionals will participate in the entire array of services available at the designated level of care as outlined in Treatment Programs.
Continuing Care
Clients who have successfully completed treatment may continue to participate in
the Professionals in Recovery Group.
Our goal is to restore health, hope, and recovery to all
of the valuable members of the licensed professional team
at your clinic or practice who might be facing substance
abuse issues.
